Reward Program Guidelines

Please note, NOT ALL JOBS VISIBLE ON THE SITE ARE ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE A REWARD.

There are 2 types of Referral Reward Programs at Lockheed Martin:

  1. Enterprise Referral Program: For each new candidate who is referred and hired through the program, the referring employee, who meets the eligibility criteria listed out below, will receive an Amazon eGift card via email (value of $50.) To receive the gift card, your Lockheed Martin email address will be shared with Amazon.
  2. Enhanced Referral Program: Participating Business Areas have Enhanced Referral Programs that offer an additional incentive on selected positions for successful referral hires.

For each new candidate who is hired against a requisition with an enhanced referral bonus, the referring employee will receive the enhanced award stated on the job description in addition to the Amazon gift card reward. Please note, currently, only full-time employees are eligible for the enhanced award.

College, Intern, Co-op, Part-time, and Internal positions are NOT included in either program.

To identify if a position is included in one of the Reward Programs, there is a bright blue banner located above the Refer Button on each job descriptions on LaunchPad indicating the reward associated with that position. Below are the respective rewards options that will be listed:

  • Not Eligible to Receive a Reward
  • Referral Bonus: $50 Amazon Gift Card
  • Referral Bonus: $50 Amazon Gift Card + $500
  • Referral Bonus: $50 Amazon Gift Card + $2,000
  • Referral Bonus: $50 Amazon Gift Card + $2,500
  • Referral Bonus: $50 Amazon Gift Card + $3,000
  • Referral Bonus: $50 Amazon Gift Card + $4,000
  • Referral Bonus: $50 Amazon Gift Card + $5,000
  • Referral Bonus: $50 Amazon Gift Card +$10,000

Rules of the Reward Programs

To be eligible to receive a referral reward:

  • The referring party must be a Lockheed Martin employee who is actively employed at the time of the referral and at the time the reward is given.
  • The referral must be made and completed through the LaunchPad employee referral platform (no exceptions)
  • The referred person must complete the application process using the unique referral link that was sent to them in the email notification following the initial referral.
  • Each referral is valid for 12 months. If your referral has already been referred and is still within that 12-month period, you will be notified immediately after making the referral. You will not receive credit for this referral and will not be eligible for the referral award.
  • This is a US based program
  • Note: College, Intern, Co-op, Part-time, and Internal positions are NOT included

The following types of Lockheed Martin employees are excluded from receiving an award:

  • All members of Global Talent Acquisition (GTA)
  • Contractors and consultants
  • Casual, Co-ops, Interns and other temporary employees
  • L-coded managers or other HR staff involved with the process of initiating a job requisition, interviewing, or participating in the selection/hiring of the referred eligible candidate

The following types of candidates will not be eligible for an employee referral reward:

  • Current active Lockheed Martin employees
  • Part-time, Intern, Co-op, and College candidates
  • Temporary workforce or contractors for Lockheed Martin within the previous six months.
  • A candidate that has already progressed to offer stage on a current position prior to referral submission
  • Employee referral rewards are deemed to be taxable income by the IRS. Reward prizes for eligible referrals will be initiated monthly after the candidate accepts a position and successfully starts in their new role.

Lockheed Martin reserves the right to amend, suspend or terminate this program's rules and/or reward amounts at any time. Lockheed Martin also reserves resolution of disputes to the sole discretion of the company.
